winTTerI had my 02 TT225Q flashed with Stage 1+ at H2Oi last year. The difference from stock is incredible. It made me fall in love with my car all over again. Thanks guys!

jettajoeman on cardomain.com/ride/3244039Best so far I have run. Great customer support, great techinical support. I was amazed buy the awesome performance over the other competitions. I am 3076R 1.8T Jetta Running 630 soon to be 830 file !!!! GREAT JOB UNITRONIC

Leon1.8TSII just got my Leon II 1.8TSI flashed and all i can say is.. WOW. Torque increment is above amazing, definitely feels like a new car. Thank you UNITRONIC!

KevinJust had my 2005 Audi A4 Avant 1.8T flashed with Unitronic. I was most impressed by the fact that when my ECM information was uploaded, the folks at Unitronic recocnized that my ECM had 2 important factory upgrades missing. Unitronic provided the factory upgrades with the performance flash. All I can say is wow! What a difference in performance - it truely is like having a brand new car. The torque is amazing and the car pulls incredibly hard. I was informed that the fuel economy would be improved but I have not noticed that because now I always have my foot into it because it's so damn much fun to drive. Thanks for the smile on my face!

VincentThis is definitely a top of the line product. When I got my Unitronic Stage 1 for my audi a6 2.7T, I was amazed by performance in speed and most especially in torque. Thanks unitronics!

joe AKA armoworrior on myfastgti.comi bought an '04 GTI that had a 3' turbo back and and the bosch N75 valve on it. got the car up to 140. then i had the stage 2 put on it. the car drives better accelerates faster and well now i have no idea how fast the car goes. but it gets there very quick. i took the car to my local dealer and let the sales guy drive the car and now he is going to get chipped. I just like the fact that I am now faster than any new VW from the factory. I looked in to a lot of chips for the car and for the money these ones are the best by far.

Chris in New York CityI recently received the Unitronic Flash for my B6 S4 (4.2L V8). All I can say is Holy WOW!!!!! The car has competely taken on a new, more exciting nature. It is now fun to drive the car and it feels so much better than how the car came from Ingolstadt. For a little background, I live in New York City. There are quite a few different performance tuning shops and independent shops in our Tri-state area (NYC proper, North and Central New Jersey, Eastern Pennslyvania and South Eastern Connecticut). All of the shops have the familiar names for performance software: APR, GIAC, O.C.T, Unitronic, PES, etc.... After about 2 years with the S4, we decided to take the leap and get a performance software flash. Luckily, I had been dealing with an independent shop in the area for quite some time who happened to be a distributor for two Performance Tuning companies. Between the distrubutor and myself having a long, exhaustive and rather frustrating experience with a tuner based out of the Southern part of the United States, I decided to go with the Unitronic for a variety of reasons. Mainly because I had heard great stories about their customer service and willingness to go the extra mile for their customers. So on to the tangible items:

First thing - With the stock ECU programming, the Drive-By-Wire system would go into what I will call "freak-out" mode. Strange things would happen during this time: Wanting 75% throttle but only getting 25% throttle (or at times no throttle what so ever!), wanting 25% throttle but getting 75% throttle which made driving in New York City traffic always a very exciting time, needing Wide Open Throttle (100% throttle) to avoid accidents, debris falling from other vehciles, people running redlights while you are in the middle of the intersection and getting no throttle at all and/or the infamous "jerk" between 1st and 2nd gears. This was an issue that many B6/7 S4 owners would report. One would either stall the car from a standstill in first gear or no matter how smooth you shift, the car would just buck like a rodeo bull when shifting into 2nd gear. With the Unitronic flash, all of the DBW issues have disappeared.

Second thing - the Upper RPM range characteristic of the engine has completely come alive. with the stock ECU programming, 4th and 5th gears were always a little "lacking" around 5500 and above. The car would not really pull as much as one would expect from a 4.2L engine. It was as if the power would go more "flat" and plateau (and this would even occur with the Sunoco 94 Octane gas). With the Unitronic flash, the >5K RPM range is fantasitic! The engine really pulls all the way to redline. In fact, the engine seems to "come alive" after 5K now with the flash. One can truly feel the HP up top as you are pressed more into the seat via postive Gs. Unfortunately, I did not do dyno runs pre-post flash. However, the car definitely feels much stronger; the higher speeds come on much quicker now than before with the stock programming.

Third thing - increase in gas mileage. As many with this car will tell you, the gas mileage on the car was pretty bad. One would be lucky to get 18MPG on the highway if you are going 75MPH-90MPH. The highest we ever got out of the car (cruise control set at 100KM/H on a flat services) was 22.5 MPG. Not too shabby considering the car is rated at 14/20. With the Unitronic flash, using the same stretch of road we got 22.5MPG at 100KM/h, now reads an average of 25.1 MPG (this was an average of 4 runs on the stretch of road). Of course, if one wanted great gas mileage, the B6/7 S4 is not the car to achieve record setting highway MPG. However, it shows the efficiency of the software and how the fuel is being used by the engine

Fourth item - the "wow" factor is back. When I first test drove the S4, I have to admit it felt fairly quick. Coming from a 1.8T car, the S4 had the exact feeling I was looking for in terms of performance (especially acceleration - standstill, 5MPH - XXX and the highway passing acceleration). However, within about 4 hours, the car started to feel flat and slightly sluggish. It needed just a little more power to real feel like a "sports sedan." With the Unitronic Flash, the car now feels like it is supposed to feel: quick, "peppy" and loving to rev up high. Of course, I could use about 75 more HP but that will be the next purchase at some point in the future.

Summary: for those on the fence about getting this software, I would highly recommend taking the leap! The car will feel much better, the power will be more linear and not peaking out after 5500 RPM and the same smile you had when you first got the car will most likely come back. My one recommendation: keep a good brake dust cleaner with you as you will be using your brakes more often from *ahem* higher speeds. :-)

PatrickI got myself a 3inch turbo-back and it made a big difference on the spool-up time of my golf mk4 1.8t and i installed a short ram and aftermarket DV. I went to Unitronic headquarters in Laval the service was awsome! Very nice guys they know what they are doing. Got the chip stage 2 and its amazing how smooth and trouble free theyre chip is! At first i was hesitent to chip my car since i know a few people who have 1.8t's chipped by Giac and APR. They have all sorts of limp modes and check engines. Blown coilpacks etc.... But i have put 10 000km on my chip and not 1 problem yet! Way faster then before! Will defenetly keep doing business with these guys when i go Big Turbo. This is truly the best bang for my buck so far!

Barry AKA MKVDemon on Golfmkv.comBefore I bought the Unitronic Stage 1 my Gti felt sort of sluggish, now it feels alot more powerful without compromising fuel efficiency. Unitronic rocks, power when you want it, pure and simple.

Rodney Ah Towelmade the switch to Unitronic Stage 2 HPFP software on my 2.0TFSi due to the fact my dealers were able to provide far greater service than my previous software company... nonetheless Unitronic is the best treatment i could have ever given my car and myself thus far!

noticed the drive is extremely smooth, unlike i have ever felt before in my car. power delivery is awesome and love how Unitronic controls the boost... dyno graph is as smooth as silk.
power is awesome as the car is stronger than most cars out there with the equivalent mods except for software.

hoping for future updates on the 2.0TFSi as i only want more and more from Unitronic! :)

keep the good work Team Unitronic!

VincentI have an 2000 Audi A6 2.7T Quattro. I installed Unitronics Stage I/91 octane chipped into my car and personally I am well impressed with the huge increase in horsepower and torque. I can definitely feel the difference in driving at fast speeds. Even just by being in 2nd gear, Im passing other cars like nothing. I personally recommend this software to all people. It is the best natural flow technology there is for any car.

Julio on www.ehmotorsport.com/I have a 2003 MK4 Ko3S.

Before Unitronic I only had Megan 2.5" Downpipe and muffler piping all the way back, 2" HPS air inatake and a front mount intercooler. I went to the Dyno I got out my stock car 166 HP and 160 TQ.

After I went EuroHouse in Puerto Rico, the only Unitronic Dealer in the Caribbean, I got my Stage 2 Flash, went to the Dyno and got 212HP and 241TQ!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats without Silicone hoses for air intake, boost and radiator, nor 3" down pipe, nor 3" intake, nor HI-Flow manifold.........................

Unitronic is simply awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Super dooper reflash for GTIs...............................

Harris I have recently installed the Unitronic stage 2+ K04 file on my car and in one word to describe it AMAZING. I originally bought the K04 kit from APR, I was sold on their bulletproof hardware/software campaign. I am probably the only guy that I know who has had REVO,APR and UNITRONIC software so you can trust me when I say AWESOME:) I had many issues with my car while running the APR software I spent thousnds in diagnostics chasing mechanical issues that were not there. The car simply never ran well! My friend Adam/zigger asked if I would be willing to try UNITRONIC to rule out software completely as an issue. Well I'm glad I did, almost immediatley my issues with the driveability were cured:) The car felt AMAZING plenty of smooth power delivery and what seems to be endless torque. I have personally delt with Mike.Z who is fantastic and always answered my calls (For any of you who have tried to call APR and have paid ridiculous long distance charges and have been put on hold for 30 min at a time) Not the case with UNITRONIC they offer great support and a great product! Thanks UNITRONIC.

LorenzWell intake and exhaust are a small power difference but ones you do the stage 1 on a GTI 1.8 it is a big difference you can feel it all the way. and you be pulling on a lot bigger cars.
Thanks to UNITRONIC and Salt Lake City Dealer (no name) For this great performance update.

Fast P on googleI got my 1.8t Jetta 03, with 55k miles, about a month ago. I bought a cold air intake, then the bov, and a boost gauge. Yeah, I still was not happy. Although the car is fun to drive, everybody and they mama were telling me, "you should chip it", "you should chip it". Finally I did. It's been about 3 days the car kicks hard now. I'm runnin 17psi consistantly. No problems at all. I paid the $500. It's worth it. Work was done here in Las Vegas at Blacksheep!!!! They hooked it up and 20 mins later all good.

sam c - veedubbinn on vwvortex.comi love my software, its awesome couldnt ask for more im on stage 2, rai motorsport in dundalk maryland are great dealer to get chipped at. clint and ray always answer my question, alex from uni is a cool guy too

revo and apr software blows and unitronic is hands down the best

RandyBefore going big turbo I used REVO Stage 3 software on my 2002 Turbo S Beetle. It was fine but I wish I had went with Unitronic from the start. The guys there are very helpful. Once the car was ready hardware wise we went with an 830cc file which the guys tweeked to work with my setup. The car started right off, the first time. I highly recomend this software to anyone going big turbo. You will not be disappointed.

James on projektgrafik.comI have unitronic software in my 2004 R32, the power difference from a stock car is noticeable, and no top speed limiter is the best.

Ashlee NaidooThe car is like driving the Seat Ibiza Cupra all over again, but with alot more power, torque, the response is unbelievable to say the least. I just drove home from work and the speed, is just madness!!! This was the best move I could have done for my car. Don’t even think about it, just do it and I promise you won’t be disappointed.

All I can say with ending this is “My hands are still shaking”

No regrets, I’m a Untronic believer now and forever!

Ashlee NaidooI have never in my entire life had service from anyone or company, as compared to what I received from Yosh as an individual on his own and also on behalf of Untronic South Africa. There are just no words, Yosh went all out on my car, being professional, a great friend and also going the extra mile for Untronic, so a big thank you for that Yosh.

He installed the software on my Seat Ibiza Cupra 1.8T and the drive, performance is ... No Words can ever explain the difference in power, response and feel of my car. I feel like a little kid all over again.

Yosh is really and truly a great asset to the Untronic team and a big + for all of us in Johannesburg, South Africa.

James on vwvortexI drive an '05 VW GLI (mk4) with the AWP coded engine. When I bought the car it was a lease return from an older guy, and hadn't even so much as been over 100mph. I started with simple mods, 3" catless turboback, CAI, n75-race valve, all new silicone hoses and then lastly a front mount kit.

The car was already walking on stock gti's/gli's/jetta's, but I wanted more...a friend told me to talk to a friend of his about getting it chipped. I saw that GIAC was doing trials and signed up. the car pulled pretty hard, and the feeling was great. After the trial however, I wanted to see what else there was....I went for a ride in a buddy's 337 that had the Uni stage 1 flash.....within the first thirty seconds I had made up my mind...

I am now a VERY PROUD OWNER of a Unitronics Stage 1 GLI. Even at the high altitude in here Salt Lake, the car has no problem outracing other VAG's, and even other chipped cars with similar mods have problems keeping up!! Still even better is that coming back from Wustefest this year, I still managed 29mpg on the highway doing a near constant 120mph.

The crowning moment was today(what made me post this segment): Two friends always give me trouble about having a slow car....We finally lined up to see if they had enough to outrun me....after multiple pulls from dig, 20, 40, and highway, they couldn't escape my GLI. The best part is that they drive a 2007 Audi S4 (b7 sedan, manual, APR headerback, APR coilpacks, Carbonio Intake) and a 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera S(coupe, manual, RUF exhaust).

Thanks Uni,
You've got a lifetime VAG-Chip customer in me!!

I drive a 2006 MK4 gti 1.8t running the 830cc file with a GT3582R on water/meth. Simply amazing! Everyone Ive given a ride is amazed how much power this thing makes and how smooth the delivery is. Ive been daily driving the car on and off for about 6 months now. Off only because Ive either broken the tranny (2 times), a clutch, or a drive shaft, and still I giggle like a school girl when on the gas at full boost. A/F is perfect around 11 to 11.5/1 at any given boost level of which I have 3, 12psi, 20psi, and over boost set to 28 psi. Ignition timing is thru the roof at 20* to 23* BTDC on the top end of course (on water/meth). When off the throttle and cruising I still get 30+mpg which is amazing too. Everyone that asks me about my car I tell them first off Unitronic is the way to go no matter what their plans are for their car. ST (small/stock turbo), no problem! MT (medium turbo), no problem! BT (big turbo), no problem! MAFless, EVAP, N249 delete, no problem! CAT delete, lol no problem! I cant wait to get my 2.2T on Unitronic's 1200cc files going. 900 to 1000 hp here I come lol.

Nathan G.I drive an '07 Audi S6 V10. I feel like my car finally came alive. Before the car was strong, but it felt a bit like a slouch. It shifted somewhat slow to upper gears and it would loose its breath after 5K RPMs. Now the car revs much happier and faster, in proportion, it accelerates that much faster too. One thing that I was extremely pleasantly surprised by was that the car does not stop pulling after 5K through 7K and it shifts quicker to upper gears. This is exactly what the stock vehicle was lacking, and this tune made my V10 come alive. I am impressed to have such gains from a tune on a naturally aspirated engine. This tune has exceeded my expectations and is well worth the money.

I also have this on an '07 Audi A4 2.0T, and just like comments below, it is great.

Rob VI have a 2004 Audi A4 1.8t wagon with the sports package. It always handled well but never did much for me in the speed and power department. At the advice of my Audi dealer, I went with the stage 1 software upgrade. Best $600 I've ever spent. The car really moves now. Lots of low end torque, tones of juice. I'm passing people in 6th gear now.

The car now drives better overall. Shifting is much smoother and acceleration has improved dramatically. Not sure about the mileage. I keep punching it between stop signs so it’s not very good at the moment. We'll see what happens when the novelty wears down a bit.

A LeonI just got my Polo GTI chipped in Santiago, Chile by your representative down here, and it was definitely worth it. The claimed gain for this 1.8T is 50hp, from 150 to 200 and that definitely sounds about right, seeing as the car is now much more agile and a ton of fun to drive!
Like some other people who have written before me, I was worried the car might feel jumpy and less driveable, but that's not the case at all. The throttle feels smoother and more linearly reponsive, making it easy to drive calmly, whereas if you step down on it you can feel the sweet turbo boost and it's definitely a lot stronger than before.
All in all, I'm loving my car even more now! (and I've only had it for a day and a half so far)

Thanks!

Andrew Schlueter on www.hausofdub.comSingle best upgrade was the Unitronic Stage 1+ flash for my 2001 1.8t Jetta with AEB head. Gobs of low end boost torque with better fuel consumption!

Great work guys!

Yves 007I drive a 2006 A4 Avant 2.0T and wanted to have somewhat more than the stock 200HP. I had Stage 1 downloaded. At first I was not getting the potential power but immediately obtained better fuel consumption (great start!). I communicated my concerns to Steve and he really helped me out. Steve had flashed a leak in my boost bypass valve, something my sensors nor my dealership did not even notice. Thanks to Steve, I had my dealership changing the deffective part. For now on, my performance will only improve to the best.

Thay's what I call GREAT Customer Service!! In addition, I get to encourage "local boys" and that feels good too!
I recommand dealing with Unitronic for your boosting upgrades because Passionate and Dedicated people are your best asset.

Yves

Mike I on www.cardomain.com/ride/506424/9I drive a 04 Jetta 24v vr6 with a T4 turbo. Before I switched over to the Unitronic 630cc file my car ran poorly and made around 314whp. After I switched to the Unitronic file and added a new intake manifold my power jumped up to 405whp and the car still drives like its stock when im off boost. Great job Unitronic and special thanks to Mike Z.

Justin GallienI got the Stage 2+ flash for my 01 Jetta 12v Vr6 at VagKraft 2.0 this summer in Burlington.Man what a difference.
